David Crory
David Crory is a rising Junior at the University of New Hampshire studying Environmental Science and Sustainability. He is especially passionate about sustainable business and ocean protection. In his college career, he has worked as a student consultant for local businesses regarding B-Corp certification and carbon accounting, and also in a soil science lab. He grew up in small rural town in New Hampshire called New Ipswich, right next to the world's second most climbed mountain (Mount Monadnock). Because of this, in his free time he loves hiking and other outdoor adventures.
This summer, David will be joining us as a Summer Sustainability Fellow through the University of New Hampshire. This fellowship is designed to cultivate projects that catalyze long-term, substantial change for host partners (like ClimateWork Maine), and provide a rich experiential learning opportunity for the Fellow. David's project will revolve around expanding our Sustainability Council program into western Maine, identifying needs, creating models, resources, and strategic plans for engaging businesses in rural Maine with climate action.
